I have photoshop CS3 and loaded some nice brushes but I can't seem to get the right effect.

Its not a problem, its more of something that has me sometimes laughing at my cat.
She refuses to drink regular tap water.
If I don't fill her water dish with the filtered water, she just ignores her water dish. Filtered water, she'll drink more than enough.
Thing being...our tiny little town in on well water, that actually tastes pretty darn good.

I can remember places very well. I have trouble remembering people, especially their appearance though. As a result my memory turns every place I remember as a place (and not as part of a specific event) into a ghost town.

It's weird because there are plenty of places I've never seen without a ton of people in them. But my brain takes them all away.

I went to see the physical therapist today. It's been almost 8 weeks since my accident so it was time to learn some new strengthening exercises for my wrist. I now have one of those giant blue rubber band thingies for that. He seemed to be really impressed with how much movement and strength I have already, so that's good. He's hopeful that I will regain 100% of what I had before, or at least pretty damn close to it. So we're keeping hope alive! It did hurt like hell the other day after I wrapped presents for my dad's staff, but that's really the worst it has been for a few weeks now, so I'm optimistic.

In other news, I've been nailing down my plans for Spring Break, and uh, they are awesome. I had basically been telling verycleanindeed that I miss her lots lately. Not that I don't communicate with her somewhere on a daily basis, but like "in person" missing her. So I was already going to try and come up sometime in the next few months anyway. But then a few days ago she said that She & Him were doing a show in L.A. in March and I was like, "UH. I WANNA GO." So we are! We're both fans, so it should be fun. I kinda girlcrush Zooey Deschanel anyway, so there you go. So we're doing that and then we'll probably be going to see a taping of The Big Bang Theory on the following Tuesday! So, awesome + awesome = awesome infinity. It's just good math, people. Ok, it's horrible math, but it's going to be wooooooonderful. We don't have any other plans beyond that, but that's okay because we don't need them. Mo and I just like to hang, watch movies and just be our cool and awesome selves. It's what we do.

Not much else going on except I am actually watching Christmas movies this week. Not that i'm super in to the spirit this year (or any year for the past 4 years really), but I do still like Christmas movies. Watched Scrooged last night and I've basically had Elf on a loop this entire afternoon. (Coincidentally, I got the official word that we were going to see She & Him right when Zooey was singing on TV. FATE.)
